(Stan) John Stanley Reese

J. Stanley Reese was only educated to the 6th grade because he was needed at home on the farm. He was part owner in the Weier, Reese and Company, which hauled Coal, and Cattle, and Ice. The ice was taken from the lake at Mineral Point, Wisconsin A quote from the Dodgeville Chronicle: "Mr. Reese is a quiet, hard working fellow who tends strictly to his own affairs and interferes with no one. He enjoys a good laugh and can take a joke anytime. " A quote about their moto in the Coal business; "It's a black business, but we treat you white." He died of Throat Cancer after having skin cancer for many years.
