Historic Opera House Restoration
Interior
Previous Opera House restorations in 1960 and again in 1975 have been a source of pride and served theater-goers well. But time has taken its toll.
We plan to retain the
original seats. Using the original metal frames and
wooden backs, the rebuilt seats will offer larger sizes,
wider spacing, and padded bottom and backs while
maintaining the original appearance. The same company that built the seats in 1903 will be involved in restoring them. |
Fresh paint, wall paper, carpet and drapes along with physical repairs to doors, windows, and plaster are also needed.
