Entrance & Lobby
The entrance and lobby area will be redesigned in a style reminiscent of the original. The grand staircase will be returned to the former center location inspired by original architect's drawings but with a gentler slope to accommodate modern standards.
Spacious modern restrooms will be created along with box office and coat check facilities and space for historic and theatrical displays in a comfortable lounging area.
To accomplish this more original, useful lobby and entrance, the city offices will be relocated to the back area of the Mascara Park A ground level entrance to the theater area will be created in the existing parking lot. This area will also offer restroom facilities on the theater level.
The Sister City Museum, a collection of artifacts and memoribilia from Algeria, will be relocated to a more accessible public viewing area.
